Responsibilities of the role:

We are looking for a Sales Director with at least 7 years of experience in ad sales in the mobile and/or digital space to spearhead the transfer of campaign budgets towards mobile mainly through Media Agencies and also directly through Advertisers.

The best candidates are new business achievers (Hunters, not Farmers) who have a good knowledge of the digital/ mobile sector and the respective media agencies in the Portuguese market. The winner is a team player with clear client orientation and with strong ability towards adapting in an extremely fast moving environment.

The attitude is that of proactivity towards new challenges being able to prioritize and work under pressure without compromising interpersonal skills while providing the best-selling smile :) The best candidates have a natural born tendency for innovation, continuously keeping updated on the new intricacies of a complex industry while being able to explain these in a simple manner.

During the first months you will be assigned to several commercial accounts which you will manage, basically in order to:

  • Accelerate the use of our platform Sonata, increasing significantly our revenue run rate (PaaS model).
  • Achieve the final transition from a media sell business model to a data driven branding projects through our technology, closing and delivering several vertical pilot projects (DDB model).
  • Increase the TAPTAP ́s strategic positioning in the whole ecosystem, maximizing the advertisers branding investments, sided with their strategic corporate goals
  • Identify key brands into the main media agencies in order to build strategic long-term relationships, backed by Sonata.

On a day to day you will directly work with the local team, working also closely with the Spanish Sales and Platform support teams in order to ensure the best advertising campaigns & projects results possible.

Experience & Requirements:

  • +7 years in digital/mobile ad sales
  • Interest in digital world and new technologies
  • Interest in learning and sharing knowledge with the other team members
  • Experience working in a startup or small teams preferred

  • Detail oriented, well organized, and ability to multi-task in a results oriented business

The offer includes a competitive compensation package + bonus + sales commission.

Salary Range: Depending on experience and expertise.
